So how cool is this?!

Vanessa Pestridge (Face of the Week a while back), in charge of Coffee on the Corner, the planned community coffee shop based in the Victory Hall annexe, received good news today. She applied for and was awarded £7900 from the Lottery charity "Awards for all". This charity awards funds to organisations working into local communities.

With this funding, the coffee shop can be completed, and Vanessa expects to be open for business early in the new year! Congratulations, V! (all your hard work and commitment paid off!)
